Ahuva,
Yeah, the gathering at Ateres Chynka is very meaningful.
I’ve been there many times. It is a big Kiddush Hashem!
It’s for those who really care, want to feel,
and don’t just look as to how to get over Tisha B’av, but want to
be united in our mourning, educated on what we are missing, and learn what we can do to make a difference.
Also for those who don’t know what they’re saying it gives meaning to the words so they’re not something to mumble.
(sometimes they explain before certain kinos as to what you are we are lamenting about.
There’s no pressure (for those who don’t have too much patience) and once you pay the fee, you can come and go as you please coming back later the next day to hear any of the wonderful speeches!
Going there one FEELS Tisha B’av, and comes out ahead.
If you want to grow, I HIGHLY suggest you try it out.
