It is called “black” becouse years ago, stores would record there sales in black and drops in red.

Anybody know the deals? Are they as good as Black Friday?
I was burned with Cyber Monday. I researched on Sunday just what I wanted to buy on Monday. Although the prices seemed good on Sunday, I had no doubt that they would be even better on Monday. Hah!!!! I ended up paying $20.00 MORE as a result of waiting. Prices were HIGHER on Monday. Not only that, I wasted HOURS shopping for the best price. Live & learn.
Yup, I’ve learned that nothing beats Black Friday prices, and even on the off-chance that they do, it’s not worth the “risk” to wait.

I don’t think it is so amazing! I think it is horrible!
An innocent person dying such a horrible death and the store is “business as usual”??? That is no respect for the person. They should have been closed AT LEAST for the day or show some kind of sympathy for the family! not just re-open to make more money. It goes to show what’s acceptable these days.

I went to Walmart, Target and Kohls last night i went a couple hours after doors opened missed most of the crazies got some good deals got home around midnight, my favorite buy was a neck massager which after a couple weeks of lifting frozen turkeys at the supermarket i could definitely use.

Yes I see how that sounds like I thought that it had already occurred. I am just wondering if anyone here is ready to pounce for something next week. Then again, maybe the person wouldn’t want to share to protect oneself from ayin hara, c”v shalom.
My wife and daughters do not wait a year for anything specific, but might need a minor appliance like a crock pot or blender and wait for Black Friday instead of buying it 2 or 3 weeks ago.
They do go to certain malls and have found good deals on clothes and other accessories (such as shoes). Some items that they purchased last year were discounted between 80% – 90% off ticketed price.

I don’t know. I don’t shop on Black Friday. I spend it (every year) cooking for Shabbos.
