That is so nice and thoughtful! Do you have enough leichter for her to light for Shabbos/Yom Tov? Or perhaps a piece of jewelry that she wants but you have not gotten to it yet!

Mazel Tov and lots of nachas and easy raising this prince to be an erlich Yid!

I had a baby book for each of my 4 children ka’h; would she enjoy recording all his ‘firsts’ & milestones?

Mazal tov. The correct answer is………………buy her what she would like to have. The best present for a baby is usually jewelry. That really shows appreciation and understanding because it is NOT easy to carry and deliver a baby and it deserves appreciation.

If you are NOT in the matzav of being able to afford jewelry then buy her something she would appreciate like perfume, a nice watch, something she might have been hinting about for the baby, etc.

what kind of jewlery do u buy for babies? wouldnt ear piercing be too painful for a newborn?

    just kidding aries

Actually, many baby girls get their ears pierced in the hospital before they go home. (A family friend, who lives in a foreign country, had seven sons in a row at her small local hospital. The sisters running the place felt so bad that she had no daughters, when her last son was born, they pierced HER ears.)

And an appropriate gift of jewelry for a newborn is a name bracelet made out of beads or a “roita bendele” of thread, stones, or other material.
