So, I know it was Rosh Hashana and all, but I couldn’t help but notice this in today’s Torah laning. It cannot be a coincidence that Nachor called one of his children “Booze” and the other “Utz” (famous pretzel company). Apparently, it’s black on white in the Torah that pretzels and booze go together. There are no extra words in the Torah. But how big of a cynic do you need to be to give your kids names like that??
I heard he wanted to name his third child “Football” but Hashem told him not to because the world wasn’t ready yet.
I would NEVER call MY kid Utz. Yech!
