Avimelech’s entire household are stricken with a mysterious illness when he takes Sarah. What did they do to deserve this? Are we to assume they were avodim/shfachos and considered part of his property, just as k’tanim may die for their father’s sins, or a wife for her husband’s unfulfilled nedarim?
