Which French presidential candidate do you support? As an outsider, it looks like there’s one candidate who has socialist and nationalist policies and oneven which is more pro-business, and more open to religion, but seems to have the support of the globalist elite. Le Pen is the only French candidate who speaks publicly about radial islam. We know about the Charlie Hebdo attacks and other French Jewish tragedies. However Le Pen is against religious headcoverings.
Macron seems to favor expansionary policies which likely helps the Jewish-owned businesses. Though Macron may have doom good economic policies, it seems that he isn’t too concerned with the rise of Radical Islam in France.
As a Jew living in France, which issues are you concerned with and which candidate do you support?
I don’t know anything about the French presidential election.
I don’t know if Joseph is a French citizen. Still, the question asked which candidate one supported, and technically if Joseph supported Fillon, and Fillon was at one point a candidate, in my humble opinion, the answer may still be valid.
Lakewhut, if LePen is elected no more kippot, streimels and kappotot in public places. On the other hand, the wave of aliya from France will pick up steam, starting with all those who have “insurance apartments” in Israel.
The election results are in: Macron, a centrist, and LePen, a right-wing nationalist and the daughter of a Holocaust denier and raging anti-Semite, finished with 24% and 21% of the vote, respectively. They will face each other in 2 weeks in a decisive runoff election. Now who do you like? (And just to be clear, I am not French, but I love their toast, vanilla ice cream and fries.)
