What are your thoughts of mistakes already being done with mail-in ballots? If you can attend a blm rally, you can vote in person.
September 30, 2020 4:36 pm at 4:36 pm #1905940charliehallParticipantFew voters attend BLM rallies. I never have and have no plans to.
Trump himself hosts rallies without masks or social distancing, but votes by mail. Trump is a hypocrite, as is the OP. Different rules for Trump as for the rest of us.

Why shouldn’t someone be able to sit at the kitchen table and fill in the ballot for the cadidates/causes that they believe in while having access to the Internet to research the pros/cons, as needed?FYI, not every yid that wants to vote by mail is a BLM supporting reformnik! Maybe people have a different hierarchy of expectations from their government and do not fall for the Fox News/OAN xtian rasha news propaganda!!!

are you stupid he votes in mail with absentee ballots first of all and second of course he’s not going to waste time and (taxpayer) money with going to the voting station himself and 3rd yes because hes the president he has different rules you can make a new constitution if you want but i won’t vote for you to be clearOctober 1, 2020 12:14 am at 12:14 am #1905988som1Participant“ATTENTION those that believe in the Trumpkopf:

they are able to by requesting an absentee ballot
but by regular mail voting anyone can commit fraud so easily and by absentee also
THERE BEENS HUNDREDS OF CASES OF FRAUD IN ELECTIONS IN AMERICA THAT USED MAIL VOTING EVEN THOSE THAT ONLY USE ABSENTEE WHICH IS SUPPOSEDLY MUCH SAFEROctober 1, 2020 12:18 am at 12:18 am #1905994☕️coffee addictParticipant“Why shouldn’t someone be able to sit at the kitchen table and fill in the ballot for the cadidates/causes that they believe in while having access to the Internet to research the pros/cons, as needed?“
More than once
Why can’t they research at home then go to a polling place?
Typical liberal
October 1, 2020 1:00 am at 1:00 am #1906093GadolhadorahParticipantWHAT makes you think a material portion of Dems and even Republicans who can’t fathom another 4 years of Trump have ever been to a BLM rally (whatever that means)?? Several states have gone to online voting for more than a decade with little if any problems and now, in a time of covid, mail-in voting for anyone who fears infection makes sense.
October 1, 2020 6:38 am at 6:38 am #19061181Participantso 100,000 mail ballot errors in NY makes sense?
October 1, 2020 7:02 am at 7:02 am #1906168Ex-CTLawyerParticipantI have nothing to apologize for…………………………
If NYS government employees are inept, it’s a civil service issue, not a political party issue
October 1, 2020 7:04 am at 7:04 am #1906165Ex-CTLawyerParticipantI have voted by mail for over 40 years, why should I change now?
I serve as Asst. Registrar of Voters in my town on election day (not at my [polling location) so am qualified for an absentee ballot under CT’s strict rules (in all other years but this).Today, Town Clerks in CT can start mailing ballots to those who applied for absentee ballots. I expect ours will arrive tomorrow, My family will fill them out, sign and seal the envelopes and I’ll drive to Town Hall or the Police HQ and deposit them in the Ballot collection boxes.
I’ll not entrust them to the poorly run USPS to make timely delivery.
On Primary Day in August, I supervised Absentee Ballot counting. CT requires the ballots arrive on or before election day. We started at noon and finished at midnight.
Based on the number of applications for absentee ballots received, we trained/engaged three times the number of ballot counters we had on primary day.
I expect we’ll finish in about the same amount of time.As for BLM rallies, I attended one on the Town Hall green in our little town many months ago. There was total social distancing with spaces marked on the lawn and small family areas roped off. No one was permitted in the area unless wearing a mask. The organizers has booths set up at the entry to provide free masks and hand sanitizer if anyone needed them.
Approximately 1% of the town;s population showed up, There were 90 minutes of interesting speeches, all were orderly, and all wore masks. Water bottles were made available on the hot afternoon at no charge. I stayed after the rally to help clean up, but not one bottle or cap was left behind.
Since then, BLM rallies in town have been Virtual, because we have a 100 person outdoor event limit in effect.October 1, 2020 10:46 am at 10:46 am #19062281ParticipantOk but why is the party downplaying about the concern that there are problems when we already see instances of it in early voting. 9 ballots from wilkes-barre army base were deliberately messed up. It’s not a secret that most in the military support Trump. Most govt workers are Dem sheep; there will be more instances of manipulation in areas that vote for Trump. 100,000 wrong ballots were sent in NY.
The party dismissed any concerns as an attempt to steal the election.

Because there are many people at risk during this pandemic who will not risk their lives a la Herman Cain (RIP) to vote in person during a pandemic.
They are liberals, democrats, republicans and even trump supporters. There is no reason that everyone should not be allowed to vote by mail this year.
This is an issue that all American’s should agree on.Trump made this an issue because he is preparing to eventually disregard the election results by claiming voter fraud.
I can’t wait to see him dragged out in handcuffs and Melania handing him divorce papers.October 1, 2020 11:26 am at 11:26 am #1906244🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantJackk – is this just an online persona? I hope so because i find some of your angry outburst truly frightening.
October 1, 2020 12:36 pm at 12:36 pm #1906251Tachles1ParticipantAside from @jackk ‘s hyperbole (I hope that’s all it is) regarding the Trump family potential events, every American should be able to vote by mail if possible and I agree with the rest of the post.
October 1, 2020 12:36 pm at 12:36 pm #19062541Participantjackk are you a bot? Not everyone who votes by mail will be counted or get the right ballot amd we are seeing examples already
October 1, 2020 1:31 pm at 1:31 pm #1906281Amil ZolaParticipant1 many states have little experience in vote by mail. I’m in a state that has been voting by mail for decades. I have confidence in the system that is in place in my state. For those of you that don’t, work for change in your own state. Study what other states who have experience in vote by mail and see how they have fine tuned their systems. No sense in reinventing the wheel when there are credible examples to follow.
October 1, 2020 4:39 pm at 4:39 pm #19062881ParticipantYou’re all still deflecting.
Amil, You know that’s irresponsible in a high stakes election.October 1, 2020 4:41 pm at 4:41 pm #1906314jackkParticipantSyag and 1,
I am a patriotic American who sees a person acting against the principles of the United States. Trump denigrating the validity of the election is totally beyond bounds. He has made America into a banana republic like Belarus.
The only bots are the confirmed Russian ones who are continuing to influence our elections.
If someone is afraid of their vote being counted by mail, then they do not have to vote by mail. But do not tell people that they have to vote in person.
Voting in America is sacrosanct and is part of the constitutional rights of every American. Many people have given their lives for the ability to vote. Read the 14th,15th and 19th amendments.
What would you do if Trump attempts to stay in office ? Wish him well ?!
What do you care what happens to him or Melania after he leaves office?
Since when are Jews so concerned with what happens to a goy who has committed crimes or been unfaithful to their wives ?
Your posts perplex me because you have decided to treat Trump differently than all previous and future presidents.
Were you as concerned when Trump threw Michael Cohen under the bus and sent him to jail?
How about when Alexander Vindman lost his career because of Trumps pettiness?October 1, 2020 4:43 pm at 4:43 pm #1906332jackkParticipantSyag,
There are a lot of people who post in the coffee room from the other side that also sound very angry. But I do not believe they are angry, just very firm in their views.
Here are a few recent samples.
“Let me be very clear and not mince words, you are a shotah for advocating voting for the Democrats who have open antisemites in their roster in leadership positions. There is no justification in my eyes, no matter how he acts to vote any other way then trump, period.”
“dems are evil.”
“I daven that democrats should fail”
“Democrats support Palestinians more than Israelis who are your brothers.
They are responsible for countless intifada and encouraging rockets from Gaza.”October 1, 2020 5:48 pm at 5:48 pm #1906358se2015ParticipantAttention One (1):
You seem to be under the impression that all democrats have attended at least One (1) BLM rally. I am here to inform you that although said impression is excusable, it is very much mistaken. My One Hundred (100) year old mother-in-law is a democrat and has not been out of her house in Six (6) months. Is it your opinion that she can vote by mail without thereby succumbing to imputations of hypocrisy? Also, she’s been on facebook for Six (6) months straight and this once proud democrat has taken to wearing a maga hat over shaitel. I mention it because I want to know if you think filling in the Trump bubble takes care of all of the fraud concerns.
October 1, 2020 6:00 pm at 6:00 pm #1906357dbrimParticipantAgree with all of the above quotes. Support voter fraud – vote by mail.
October 1, 2020 7:23 pm at 7:23 pm #19063681Participantse2015 learn reading comprehension. Frum democrats are less in population than blm dems.
October 1, 2020 7:30 pm at 7:30 pm #1906371se2015ParticipantReading my comment above (#1906358) , I feel compelled to correct the record. My mother in law is not 100. I have no idea if she has a facebook account but she does comment on ywn and I don’t know if she knows who I am or that lied about her age and maga hat. I hope not. She is a democrat. The only thing we agree on is that trump is repulsive. Thanks to Trump we have his repulsiveness to talk about instead of alternating between glaring at each other across the shabbos table and screaming.

Re: learning reading comprehension
I am trying, although I suspect I will never fully comprehend your compositional gems. I have several questions.
1) You now appear to assume that no frum democrats attend blm rallies. This is false. My grandmother is a frum blm rally attender. She does not talk to my mother-in-law for obvious reasons.
2) I can’t understand the words “less in population than.” Is it English?
3) I fail to see how “you” in “if you can attend a blm rally” meant “you who are not frum democrats” when the post was addressed to frum democrats (or frum democrat apologists, whatever that means). If you were addressing non-frum democrats, you probably should have posted your question on reddit or something.
4) What does religious observance have to do with the perceived disconnect between protests and mail in voting?
Thank you.
