I was looking for information on Yeshiva Ateres Yerushalayim (in Yerushalayim, of course). In the course of my research, however, I became a bit confused because it seems that there are, in fact, at least two schools with this name, one associated with Rabbi Aviner and the other with Rabbi Jablinowitz.

Can anyone confirm these are, in fact, two separate schools and, if so, does anyone have any experience with the latter?

    Thanks,

I’m not sure who Rabbi Jablinowitz is, but Rabbi Aviner’s Ateret Yerushalayim is also known (formerly known?) as Ateret Cohanim.

Does anyone else have any information?

I think there’s an American one which is commonly known as AJ and an Israeli one which goes by its full name. A relative of mine worked (works?) with the American boys in AJ and an Israeli neighbor of mine learns in Ateret and I’m quite sure they’re not the same yeshiva.

There is also Ateres Bnos Yerushalayim, a girl’s seminary, run by rabbi hillel belsky, but i assume this is not what you are talking about…

Thanks for the information. Is there any information you can share (publicly or privately via email) about AJ (the one catering to American boys)?

    Thanks,

I don’t personally know anything about it, but if you have specific questions, I can ask my relative.
