The message from Hashem is that First our loving father and King of Kings Hashem ruler of the entire world, sends wake up calls through other nations to bring us to Teshuva but if that Chas VShalom doesn’t work and we don’t LISTEN WITH OUR EARS and openly accept Hashem’s wake up call for serious Teshuva and Achdus then we leave Hashem no choice but to Chas VShalom hit his loving nation klal yisroel directly with non stop horrific tragedies as we have all seen just in the last few months alone. ARE WE GOING TO CONTINUE LIVING IN DENIAL? and then ask ourselves why there’s so much tzaros in Klal yisroel? When it could’ve all been avoided if we only accepted Hashem’s wake up call for serious Teshuva and Achdus together as one loving nation.
Do YOU know any father in the entire world that likes to hit and punish his child? Sometimes the father has no choice, the kid won’t do his homework or listen and go to sleep when told. Does your conscience allow you to vote for Harris/Walz, with Walz being for gender-affirming care?
It seems that your political affiliations make you pick out faults from one nominee when there are policy issues with the other that may negatively affect us, at least for Torah observant people.
RebE, this is contradictory – he might not be changing, but his biggest drawback seems to be that he is unpredictable and some people are sincerely scared of that, and others are exploiting what he can possibly do. But if you go solely on his history, and we discussed here at length, his policy decisions were pretty good for Jews/for economy/for international politics. You may have it drilled into your head all possible scares, but if you go and review the record, there are not many problems there. So, if he does not change, you should be able to vote for him.
Note that perception from the media is extremely misleading by now. For example, T was giving a press conference yesterday. A friend who watched said that it was pretty organized and included policy positions read from a paper. There are no references in the major papers to the conference in general, and one little note I saw was about some moment that might paint him in a bad way. So, unless you are reading T’s truthsocial, you are not well informed.
