Or is liking blueberry pie the only thing they have in common?
January 12, 2018 12:11 am at 12:11 am #1448462LightbriteParticipantI like blueberry pie, but did not eat it when I had the chance to consume a delicious looking homemade wild blueberry blueberry pie with pareve whipped cream.
Now, if we have more posters confess their delight in partaking in blueberry pie (even if they choose not to eat it, at no fault of the pie), then we can see if we’re alike.

January 12, 2018 7:34 am at 7:34 am #1448532ZionGateParticipantRebYidd,
Oh, no !!!
Here I’m struggling with a cake diet, and you gotta throw this at me.
Blueberry pie is what gets served in heaven.
We’ll talk headstrong & opinions much, much later.
Now let me enjoy a couple of sinful slices
BTW, as is usually the case nowadays, people are throwing in much, too much, a ton too much sugar, and spoiling the thing.
Another thing…. Just the blueberry pie please… No nuts, carrots, sesame, eggplant, pecans and dressing in the mix , as they do to salads at weddings…
Pleeeezzze…..January 13, 2018 11:06 pm at 11:06 pm #1448857LightbriteParticipantDo they make poppy seed pie?
I can eat a whole can of poppy seed filling heated up and bubbly. With a side of hamentaschen dough, baked.
Wait what… oh yea, blueberry pie
January 14, 2018 3:43 pm at 3:43 pm #1449194👑RebYidd23ParticipantWhy are poppy seed hamantaschen so delicious? Why does my spellcheck want the word to be “enchantment”?
Is it wrong to assume that blueberry pie fans are opinionated, have leadership qualities, and are interested in music?January 14, 2018 7:41 pm at 7:41 pm #1449293LightbriteParticipantIt only makes sense that Blueberry Pie Fans have leadership qualities! You have to be a leader if you want to be a successful pioneer!
“Blueberry pie was first eaten by early American settlers and remains a popular dessert in the United States and Canada” (Wiki).

January 15, 2018 5:06 pm at 5:06 pm #1450198LightbriteParticipantCTLAWYER: You do not like persimmons?
January 15, 2018 5:06 pm at 5:06 pm #1450213LightbriteParticipantWhoa! Blueberries are berries, but not strawberries, according to Wiki:
“In the first image, only the blueberry is botanically a berry: blackberries are aggregate fruit composed of many drupelets, and strawberries are aggregate accessory fruits. Sloes, the fruits of Prunus spinosa, are drupes. Avocado fruit are described as either drupes or berries. Serviceberries, fruits of Amelanchier species, are pomes. Mulberries, the fruits of Morus nigra, are multiple fruits.” (WIKI)
