We blame pigeons for just being pigeons in places other than their natural habitat. We are annoyed at stray cats. But our species put them there. When one stray cat misbehaves, we blame all of them. So are we responsible for what other humans do? #hitandrun

“responsible” implies legal responsibility, such as if the cows were to hire a lawyer and sue the human race for mass murder?

Perhaps the administrators of the passenger pigeon’s estate could sue for wrongful extinction?

“We blame pigeons” “we blame all of [stray cats]”

You speak for the human race on a whole. I don’t. I speak for myself, and I think individuals should be judged individually. Making general judgements based on individuals opens up us Jews as a group to be blamed entirely by secular society for the perceived misdeeds of a few – OH WAIT, we already are.

I don’t speak for the human race as a whole. I speak for those who fit my description.
