Assur? In what context? As a bitul zman, probably. What about a bitul zman versus playing a video game? As a problem of the movie having a hashpa’a on ones self? That’s probably also an issue. Does that mean that all movies are assur? No. Does that mean that movies are all muttar? Absolutely not.
