What’s so bad about comparing the two, would it be better to compare an apple to a boat? If I complain that you threw an orange at me would you answer, “No, it was really an apple”? If we’re speaking Hilchos Modeh Bimiktzas I can understand, but other than that…?
Do you prefer the French version? They have comparing apples and pears!
