December 18, 2011 5:13 am at 5:13 am #835856koillel101MemberWe once played ‘priorities’ that was fun. Also you may like to try taking upclose pics of certain common items and have people try to guess what those things are. It’s always fun!

December 18, 2011 8:56 am at 8:56 am #835858babygooseParticipanta very cute game we played and was a ball was malarky with things that pretain to the family, community etc.
like someone asks “why do we eat sufganiot on chnukah” and 4 ppl. come up. 3 of them gotta make up a story, and one of them has the true answer – which by the way, try to choose a true answer that’s not so common/sounds rediculious. then everyone votes whos answer was teh correct one
enjoy

The book is filled with one page narratives which have words left out. . Then they ask you to fill in the blanks with either a verb, adjective, proper noun..etc. Then when you go back to read the narrative, it can be very funny. Some of the books can be on topics that avoid any pop cultural references, etc. to avoid any controversy. If you consider this, I would read through to make sure all the pages are kosher, which is very possible to find. Have fun!

last year we played a fun game. There are 7 piles of cards (color coded)face down, each one represents a different catagory. each card has a fun, funny, enjoyable question that your family should be able to guess. each card should have a value as well (from lets say 10pts to 50pts or 100pts). Each person has to get a turn, one at a time, as you go around the table. The one who made up the questions of course has to be in charge.
one catagory can be of obscure pictures of certain spot around the house. One catagory can be a fun math or geography question.
One can be a cata about famous people, or fun jewish trivia. Also there should be a surprise card in all piles, allowing the picker to pick a prize from a bag blindfolded. prizes can include funny stuff or useful things too: sunglasses, toothpaste, nailclipper, ketchup, booze, etc.
As long as its fun and people will get the answers with some thought.
