When we cry and mourn for the Churban and the terrible tragedies associated with it that we read in the Kinnos, we must keep something very important in mind.
The Churban caused a terrible loss of lives for which we try to mourn over. it is difficult to feel the loss and the pain. it was long ago but we try. it is our obligation.
but today Klal Yisroel is undergoing tragedies far worse, even worse that the recent Churban, also as an ultimate result of the destruction of the Bais HaMikdosh. this is not over the loss of property and Yiddish bodies, todays loss is of millions and millions of precious Yiddishe Neshamas…forever, C’V.
In the Kinnos we read that when the Navi saw the mounds of Tefillin that were removed from slain men and boys, he cried out: Oy! Ribbono Shel Olam, here are the Tefillin but where are all the heads?
Today we are forced to cry out: Oy! Ribbono Shel Olam, here are the heads, but where are the Tefillin!!
The Churban is still with us…. TODAY
And if R’ Shimshon Pinkus said that years ago, kal v’chomer today…

to inspire us with stories of ahavas yisroel & the Churban
& medrashim, to get us prepared so we can go into Tishah B’av
with the proper understanding & feeling.

They say it’s hard to cry. Hard to cry for the Bais Hamikdash, for all that we’ve lost, for the Galus that we’re in.
HARD TO CRY???

-19 yr old killed when…
-15 yr old drowned…
-little boy drowned…
-car accident…
-fire…
is it so hard to shed one tear, just one pure tear for all that klal Yisroel ahs been through? Try, try, and maybe we won’t have Tisha B’av this year…

Dear ambush: very well said,
but it’s not just about what we lost & the tzar that we are suffering,
it’s also about where we went wrong, & what we have to correct,
that is why we are still here in Golus.
May we be Zoche that this coming Tisha B’av, be turned from Aivel
to a Yom Tov with the Geulah Shleima! Omein!
