Did anyone read the cover story of the AMI magazine from 2 weeks ago? It was about Rabbi Jungreis! Any comments on this amazing person!! I give him a lot of credit!!
How about a summary for those of us who didn’t?
He is a wonderful person.
I read it. One of the photos were taken Lag Baomer (I was there, so I recognize it). To see how he interacts with his boys, is to see true ahavas yisroel.
Pass by his shul on Friday night, and you can hear it for yourself.

He runs a minyan that welcomes people who do not feel at home in conventional minyanim. Lots of singing, lots of food, and you can daven as much or as little as you can at the moment. Teens feel especially at ease with him, because he shows them true affection
In many cases, its the only place they experience this, so they flock to him like children.
I know two of his chevrah. Hardened dudes, lots of pain. After a week on the mean streets of NYC, coming to R’ Jungreis is like stepping into Gan Eden
