Here is the question. Do people who are not citizens of Israel or do not live there, have the right to voice an opinion on any Israel related matters. Before everyone starts yelling that the land belongs to all Jews stop and think for a moment. If you were a soldier or a parent of a soldier who was protecting Gush Katif, would it be so obvious to you that the disengagement is bad? If you lost a friend who was protecting Gush Katif, would it be so blatant that this was the wrong decision? One who is sitting in a comfortable home in Lawrence (or wherever), and commenting after Operation Protective Edge that Israel should have stayed in and wiped them…would he have made that comment if he lost a cousin? A commander? An arm? This thought is not limited to matters of security only, it is just most apparent here. I am not saying that the opinions of those outside of Israel are meaningless, but question wheather or not you should insert yourself into an argument with someone living the issues. People like to get mad when America tells Israel how to run things…but the they have no problem moutjing off about how Israel should run things. I do not doubt that most have good intentions, but intentions are not wnough to validate an act. Think about it…or don’t.
