does anyone think that the new supermarket near all fresh is going to harm their buisiness? who is the manager of that store btw it is the most well run store around
Which new supermarket near all fresh? The one by the old car dealership or the one opening by pathmark?
cutiepie; Your evaluation about All Fresh is right on target. I know. Because a close member of my family works there. I’ve been there several times (when I visit Monsey) and I see that it’s run very professionally. The staff is always busy helping customers. No hanging around. Possibly. Because the boss is always on the premises.
Wasn’t allfresh going to merge with that new supermarket yesh? I remember hearing something to that effect. I hope that’s true so at least the hardworking employees at allfresh don’t lose their jobs. The workers there are all heimishe yingelat.
All Fresh is a very nice store with good prices plus they mail you a coupon to use next time you shop (depending how much you spend there). They also deliver and you can call or fax in your order.
Yes, Pathmark closed and this Israeli store chain is supposed to open. It could very well have an impact on All Fresh if they offer delivery too and good prices. Shoppers Haven and Monsey Kosher Plaza (near amazing savings)may also feel the competition.

Who runs the store?
I heard the one opening on the corner of 59 and 306, is going to be like a Kolel Supermarket with crazy low prices (at least in the beginning). Lately I’ve seen a lot of construction going on there. I hope this does not affect any of the other stores, especially Motty’s which is small, and right nearby.

All Fresh is negotiating with this Israeli supermarket, they want to merge together and make one store at the old Pathmark. That is what an employee told me this morning.
I just recieved a questionare in the mail asking me about my shopping habits, if I fill it out they will bli nedar give five dollars to Tomche Shabbos. Wonder if this is related.
All Fresh has a small parking lot and the store is a little too small so while they do well they lose many customers. Moving to PM would be a good move for them but really hurt the new guy.

Ha, ARC, you should have seen All Fresh twenty years ago,only sold produce, it was tiny, and when they moved to their present location it was bigger with a grocery. Then they expanded and it was wow. so funny when you say it’s small cause I remember what it used to be.
Their prices are great and if you go early in the morning it’s not crowded, and they have parking on the side too.
they still have an awful and small lot. I dont think its 20 years already that they are open but yes they are much bigger than they were. still a little small though.
They do have the best prices and the most frum workers instead of immigrants.
I would love to know who runs this store! sounds great!
call the store and ask for the manager but I gotta ask what difference does it make?

the store on 306 and 59 will focus alot on takeout which will be competition mainly for rockland kosher’s deli (think along the lines of a pomegrante…)
ive heard both but also that corner grocery will be an all fresh like with a big takeout
they are opening a full fledged supermarket on a good quality scale like ………..customer service….. price …..also Quality…..absolutely Not a pomegranate…. a all fresh size store with customer service that’s what a relative of one owner told me also the owners of “Market Central” are very big Balei tzedukeh Known in monsey for there Giving to the community
Also the owners of all fresh are Big baalei tzedukeh i once worked on a function in monsey he donated a big part of the food Etc.
