1.the sound of the heat coming in to the radiators(really!)
2.the sound of children playing happily with each other
3.the sound of the bank teller saying,”You have more than 3cents in your account!”
4.the sound of A SILENT SECURITY BOOTH,not having to be frisked
5.the sound of…..your thoughts?
For the “comedy” posters…the sound of a gun does NOT count.

December 21, 2010 1:58 am at 1:58 am #719916anon for thisParticipantThe sound of the kids at the dinner table–several minutes of nearly total silence while they eat, followed by at least a few minutes of conversation with a minimum of argument. I don’t get this every day, but more often than not.
I also love the sound of babies laughing, but I don’t have any now. My sister has an infant son, and sometimes when she’s holding her baby while I talk to her on the phone I’ll say something funny, just because he laughs when she does.
I also love listening to my two youngest kids greet each other after school. They will sometimes hug each other and then talk about their day.
December 21, 2010 2:40 am at 2:40 am #719917amichaiParticipantbeing greeted by your nieces and nephews, and their children! true music!

December 21, 2010 8:40 am at 8:40 am #719922havesomeseichelMember**Good morning
**Great job! There are so many times to say it- school, work, from family members…
**why don’t you relax?
And as many said before- babies gurgling and making their first sounds!
December 21, 2010 11:20 am at 11:20 am #719923Shticky GuyParticipantPhillybubby, oomis1105: Everything is relative. I wouldnt want my grandchild saying bubby love you cos I’m a fellow. The sound of planes rumbling past my house is usually very annoying but after the icelandic volcano saga it was very refreshing to hear. And sometimes noisy kids are annoying, but if they’re your grandchildren I’m sure its music to your ears; esp as they’re probably going to their own home soon… 🙂
December 22, 2010 11:38 pm at 11:38 pm #719924candy613MemberThe sound of crashing waves at the beach, or the sound of a waterfall i love this it always is sooo relaxing!!!!!!!!
