Does anyone know where the agudah reunion is this Motzei Shabbos! I know it’s in Brooklyn, but where? and are they still having it because of the snow??
December 30, 2010 3:20 pm at 3:20 pm #723808bptParticipantIts in the hall on Coney Island Ave / Ave I. Most likely, its still on, as Bklyn is mostly back to normal. Buses, trucks, cars…all are moving at pretty much the standard pace.
By Moztoi Shabbos, you’ll barely notice the snow.

I’m sorry but this sentence does not compute, when was Brooklyn ever normal?
December 30, 2010 4:00 pm at 4:00 pm #723810Derech HaMelechMemberI smell an out-of-towner.

December 30, 2010 4:33 pm at 4:33 pm #723812bptParticipantThat’t why I added “moving at pretty much the standard pace”.
For us, this is normal.
And yes, Toto, you are no longer in Kansas.

January 2, 2011 2:47 pm at 2:47 pm #723814geshmocksterMemberThe reunion took place last night at Sasson V’Simcha hall. Michoel Pruzansky was the guest star, along with the famous composer, Rabbi Yitzi Bald! There was a full-fledged fleishege menu. The Aryeh Gelbard blockbuster video was shown, and a great time was had by all.
You can view the video on the Camp Agudah unofficial website, in the photos and video section. It will keep your kids busy for hours!
January 3, 2011 3:55 am at 3:55 am #723815Flatbush GuyMemberMy son went to this reunion last night and came home very excited for Summer 2011. We all sat down together today to watch the memories 2010 video. After watching the video, there is no wonder why Camp Agudah is a known as a great camp and is really the best environment for a child to be in during the summer. You do not realize how much a child can gain from being in a machane kadosh. The staff, led by its Head Counselor and experienced mechanech Rabbi Kaufman, are all bnei Torah. Our son is counting down the days until the summer!!!

January 3, 2011 4:16 am at 4:16 am #723817shev143MemberHow much does it cost to send a child to Camp Agudah for both months?
January 3, 2011 4:53 am at 4:53 am #723818Flatbush GuyMemberYou can call the camp office at 212-797-8172 to get an application and probably a copy of this years memories video. I personally received a small discount. As our son got older and bungalow colony life got quite boring, we had to send him to camp. Camp Agudah kept him busy from the moment I dropped him off in camp until he came back to the bungalow the last day. The price is more than worth it!!
January 3, 2011 5:08 pm at 5:08 pm #723819bptParticipantDitto. It costs a bundle, but (IMHO) worth every penny. My kids have been to several camps, and Agudah has a a very good program for today’s yeshiva boys
