    important halachic qeustion. any self respecting jew knows that he must dress as though he’s in front of a powerful leader during davening. so, obviously the question on all of our minds is, can we wear a “make america great again” hat during davening? i mean since our next leader will be the exalted business man, donald j trump and all and that’s what he wears. so, when trump is president and america is great again, will we all wear “make america great again” hats for davening?

    No because by the time he is president America will have be made great. Thus by wearing that hat you are being Morid Bamalchus.

    When he is president there will be new hats that will say other slogans. Perhaps one will say “Amearica – Great again. That hat you would be able to wear.

    Excellent point. I think once Trump is president, we can wear hats which say “Making America Great Again,” then after his presidency we’ll wear hats that say “Made America Great Again.”
