Notice that this thread marking 300,000 was 4.5 years ago. And the CR started 7.5 years ago. So while it took 3 years to reach the first 300,000 comment milestone, it took another 4.5 years to reach another 300,000. That means there has been a significant slowdown in comments in recent years.
We need to make up for the lost time by posting more often!

Oh, no, I think we need back all our old beis yaakov maidels to get anywhere close to getting it done that fast! Where did they all run off to over the last few years? In the alte teigen they were causing threads to go to a new page every 30 minutes.
