    Wow. Wouldn’t have imagined I’d be writing this.. some time ago…

    But it’s time to forgive and move a step forward.. I hereby forgive EVERYONE (like in ‘EVERYONE’) whether unintentional or intentional, any pain, anguish, tzaar, distress, suffering, heartache or headache. Anything done here in the CR or anything out in the real world. Except for any monetary claims (how I wish!) EVEN if said individual intends to do it again. (WOW – I just said it) I mean it – with my full heart.

    I full-heartedly let it go. WHEW!!!!

    I think it’s a really high level to forgive people who aren’t sorry and intend to do it again!! I’m totally not holding by that. I always have lots of kavana when I say those words in the Tefilas Zaka.

    So even if you’re not on the madreiga, just say it. Moichel. It works.

    I find I can forgive anyone whose actions I am not currently suffering from. Even if they never asked to be forgiven. But how do you forgive those whose actions still affect you or your children?

    I must clarify: I have forgiven, to the best of my ability, those whose actions from years ago still affect me or my kids today. What is difficult is forgiving those whose CURRENT ACTIONS, OR CURRENT INACTION affect us significantly. Yes, they are messengers from Hashem, but that does not make them loveable:)

Someone under duress is in an entirely different picture.
