Where do I file a complaint?
January 4, 2022 10:13 am at 10:13 am #2047982🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantI actually overstayed. My symptoms were seemingly unaware that the omicron was supposed to be mild or about the shortened quarantine and I had myself in a self imposed exile. I won’t begrudge you the complaint tho, file away.
January 4, 2022 10:17 am at 10:17 am #2047986NechomahParticipantMe!! Me!!
Got my positive on Friday. I promptly gave it to my son and my daughter :(.
I’ll be done on Sunday.

Refuah shleimah. Sorry if I was harsh on you, did not know you are posting under distress 🙂
Given that your previous covid was wuhan long ago, this one might have been delta, not omicron. There is almost as much delta now as a month ago, it is just a “low percentage” of the total.January 4, 2022 10:21 pm at 10:21 pm #2048171CHOOSIDParticipantWhy are you quarentining? NONSENSE!!
January 4, 2022 10:21 pm at 10:21 pm #2048172CHOOSIDParticipantStop raising your hands
January 4, 2022 10:30 pm at 10:30 pm #2048214🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantIt was omicron. And per the doctor they are not seeing much delta where I am. Thank Gd.
January 5, 2022 9:47 am at 9:47 am #2048333Always_Ask_QuestionsParticipantSyag, are they now sequencing for individual patients? I thought it is done only “on average” for like 1% of cases. Interesting.
It makes sense that communities that had previous waves will be mostly affected by omicron, plus also high propagation in schools. By the way, we can also learned from the ways of non-Jews: see what propagation is happening when they celebrate and travel and then they stand in long lines to test? Similar things were probably happening in our communities during holidays, it just did not get in the news.
January 5, 2022 10:58 am at 10:58 am #2048349🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantHey, whatever narrative you want create for yourself, go for it.
January 10, 2022 12:03 pm at 12:03 pm #2049907Always_Ask_QuestionsParticipantFor those who recovered, it is recommended to do light exercise – reduce sitting time, walk 30 minutes daily/up to the time you feel tired. deep breathing exercises for lungs. Get yourself an oximeter – if you are doing less than 97%, do more of the above. Gezunte heig.
January 10, 2022 12:08 pm at 12:08 pm #2049921🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantyes, back to april, may 2020.
Wake up sir, we’ve progressed to omicron.January 10, 2022 12:45 pm at 12:45 pm #2049927mesivta bachurParticipantthe younger grades are but apparently midterms are more important than ¨health risks¨
January 10, 2022 1:06 pm at 1:06 pm #2049933🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantor maybe they aren’t covid positive. Our high school started midterms already finished from their rolling cases and absences, no need to paint everyone negatively.
January 10, 2022 2:11 pm at 2:11 pm #2049973Always_Ask_QuestionsParticipantSyag > Wake up sir,
Look, you seem to be up to date, but you can hear here so many people who use Radio Moscow as their information sources. With so many people sick lately, maybe someone did not think about this. Using oximeter is a simple objective way to check your lung status, whether it is from a recent sickness or from old one, or from anything else – and do something about it.
January 10, 2022 2:18 pm at 2:18 pm #2049983🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantYou brought up the oximeter on a thread about people who are now getting out of quarantine either because you are unaware that the world is no longer in 2020 and the lung capacity is not a current covid related issue* , or you just don’t want to let go of the death and despair cloud you keep perpetuating. Whichever it is, please stop correcting others who actually have current information.
*(per my physician, nurse, physician friend, two nurses working in covid units and one or two reliable physicians who public articles online).
January 10, 2022 2:50 pm at 2:50 pm #2049998Always_Ask_QuestionsParticipantSyag, indeed. As reported, lung capacity is *way less* of an issue for those who had Omicron. As there are *way more* people who are getting it, it may be relevant for some. Others might have had Delta. Others might have had Delta last year and Omicron now. Others might have had pneumonia 5 years ago.
It costs $5 to get one oximeter per family or yeshiva dorm and you’ll see if you need to pay attention to your health. I am not “correcting” anyone, just gave a free piece of the advice. Thanks for helping me clarify the information.
A general thought: a standard medical advice is about acute things that happen on average. Lots of covid public policy advice is based on balance between hospital capacity and a need for children to be in school. You can often do better. For a pre-covid example: children vaccinations are structured to maximize efficiency and probability that kids take all of them. We re-scheduled them to delay those that were not an issue (our kids were not digging dirt with metal knives unsupervised) and space out remaining one instead of cocktails. The doctor grumbled but complied.
January 10, 2022 3:00 pm at 3:00 pm #2050004🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantAAQ – the medical experts said that it is not an issue. I have spoken to many first hand, so I could get real life info. They did not say *way less*. You are adding that in because you don’t like to think you may have erred or spoken out of turn. We are talking about quarantining for this round of covid. We were not talking about last year or other issues people may have seperate from covid that effect their lungs. If you were talking about other issues you would have said, “and don’t forget to check your blood sugar and take your vitamins”.
You seem to be having some trouble letting go of covid’s terminal illness status and combined with not wanting to accept information from anyone else as a possibility, you seem to have dug yourself into a hole.
January 10, 2022 5:52 pm at 5:52 pm #2050035bob hample1Participantim in voluntary quarinteen.
January 10, 2022 7:42 pm at 7:42 pm #2050058Always_Ask_QuestionsParticipantSyag, I am talking about non-acute issues already that might have accumulated from all this. If your oxygen is 99, B’H, great. If you simply too lazy to check but would rather write about it, ok too. I actually tried to post something non-controversial, but never mind 🙂
January 10, 2022 8:00 pm at 8:00 pm #2050073🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantOh please. You jumped in to the discussion reminding us we should all remember that our oxygen may be low and offering tips as we leave quarantine. Either you actually still think that’s going on, or you just want us to think so. If you thought it wasn’t controversial to pretend covid is still suffocating everyone, then you sadly must still believe it.
January 10, 2022 8:11 pm at 8:11 pm #2050078🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantsocial tip – if you want to post something non controversial you will have to leave covid behind. Since you are still holding that masklessness leads to murder, and people who aren’t vaxxed should be left to die by the medical professionals unless they bring their own vent (as if that is a current covid priority) your posts on the topic of covid may never qualify as such.
January 10, 2022 8:43 pm at 8:43 pm #2050086Always_Ask_QuestionsParticipantMy wise F-I-L taught me a good tip: always have the last word.
