I went to a pizza shop in Brooklyn tonight, and it was so geshmak.
See, I was in brooklyn, because I was bringing my daughter to a beshow. My daughter up and decided to be chassidish and thinks that means that we have to go to beshows with her. And we can’t do them in our house because we aren’t chassidish or something like that. So we have to go to them.
So we get dragged to this beshow, and after politely chit chatting in the kitchen for 5 minutes, I excused myself to the restroom and snuck out the door to the pizza shop. I went to bon appetit on Coney Island between L and M.
And here is the difference between brooklyn and OOT. See, OOT, you can go to a pizza shop and be friendly with the people who work there, and that is kind of nice. But in brooklyn–you can mach heimish! And maching heimish with the pizza people is so much more better than just being friendly with them. I even mached heimish with some bochur who was also standing there buying pizza. I dunno even his name, but we mached some good heimish.
Then I went to mincha at some shteibel, and did eruvin 73 during chazaras hashatz. And we didn’t even have to wait for a minyan. I want to live in a traklin, but not with 5 other families, just saying.
???? ??? ???–I like brooklyn in little 15 minute bursts.
