Some 50 tombstones were damaged and the cemetery vandalized in the Jezreel Valley area earlier in the week. Local moshav residents explain it appears the damage to the tombstones was done with “large rocks” and most of the kevarim in the beis chaim were targeted. Some of the matzeivos were actually broken into pieces and damage was significant. Police were summoned and an investigation is underway.

One moshav resident reports that he told police he saw an Arab youth fleeing the cemetery.
