An increasing number of residents of Bnei Brak are avoiding area “Hey” as ‘at-risk’ youths are making a visit to the area’s shopping center an increasingly unpleasant reality. In recent weeks, a yeshiva bachor was hospitalized as a result of an attack. Another bachor was attacked this past Friday night.

While residents express concerns over the deteriorating situation, particularly to permitting their children to go outside, Dan district police insist they have not received complaints and are unaware of any such problem. Police urge anyone who has fallen prey to thugs to file reports to permit them to act immediately.
