I just watched the most amazing video of R’ Amnon Yitzchak Shlita having a heated debate with a member of Neturei Karta. I strongly suggest to anyone that understands Hebrew, who has a high speed internet connection and hates Neturei Karta to click HERE and fast forward to 2:23:30 until 2:36:10. Interesting – he gave a great explaination of the shita of Neturai karta and before Amnon Yitchak can answer (which I am not sure he had) the took the man away – why did they do that – were they scared that Amnon Yitzchak did not have an answer? Is that the way to have a dialog – he was not in any way disrespectful to have them remove him. This is a weird way for Amnon Y. to get on the side of the chilonim do to T’shuvah and yes it may help but he is doing it while giving credence to their hatred of the Chasidim and Ulta Orthodox. Is he saying that the shita of R’ Weissmandel, R’ Blau and the Satmar Rebbe was that of murderers? I understand that the Neturai Karta people of today may not have the right hadrachah of going about their shita – and probably aren’t going about it L’shem Shomaim. But R’ Amnon Y. should not blast the shita itself.

It was clear to me that R’ Amnon Yitzchak was as critical of the Tzioinim as NK is. What he was angry about was NK’s cooperation with the likes of Ahmadinejad and Arafat YMS, which he said endangers ALL Jews including anti-Zionists.
The shita of R’ Weismandel ZYA, the Satmar Rov ZYA, and ESPECIALLY that of the REAL Neturei Karta of Reb Amram Bloy ZYA has NOTHING to do with these 30-50 clowns marching around with Muslims, looney leftists and all other sorts of anti-Semitic trash. Reb Yoilish ZYA was VERY critical of NK, which is basically in cherem within Satmar, notwithstanding fringe elements at the edges of Satmar (or from Satmar families) who ally themselves with NK.

I dont know why he needed to boot that guy out. Any ideas? He looked like he was able to handle himself. I have seen talk shows which were more rowdy, and the host is able to just remove the mic from the guys hand, and by doing this shut him up. Chucking him out of there just seemed a bit much.
RAY is blasting the shita as does every other Rov that is not invovled with NK. These other Rabbonim all agree that the current NK has taken things too far.
To the contrary, he didn’t boot him out at all. The people standing around did it. He kept urging that they let him speak.
I read the introduction to this article with a heavy heart. For I hope that none of us “hate” the NK. I doubt any of us agree with them (or more precisely perhaps their actions). But to hate them? To hate the aveirah baseder to to hate the people? People who honestly try to be good yiddim, follow the mitzvos etc, but yes indeed according to most rabbonim have made one (albeit very large) error. I should hope that people don’t hate me because I am sure that I am far from perfect. So too we have to make sure not to hate the NK (at least the people).
It was an uneven debate, as the NK person had to contend with continual interruptions and heckling, while R’ A.Y. had the upper hand sitting on the podium. Why don’t they stage a properly organized debate with both of them sitting down and given fixed periods of time to state their cases and rebut the other side’s arguments without interruptions. Then we spectators might have more of a chance to see the emes unfold. Also, several remarks have been made about NK’s small size. including one by R’ A.Y. himself. Did the Chashmonayim have any more people when they started?

Anyone who knows about Zionism knows that its the Anti-jewish Jew philosophy, or the anti Torah Jew philosophy. All Jews should be anti-zionism and pro-Torah.
But the NK support terrorists, and therefore G-d fearing Jews (and all Jews) should immediately disassociate themselves from the NK. G-d will judge the NK for their deeds and we need not deal with them.
