A Yifat Mutagim conducted poll for Kav Itonaiyut shows that candidates Tzvika Cohen and Sruly Porush are almost head-to-head in the Elad municipality elections. Cohen leads by 2%, which is the poll’s margin of error. Cohen shows 30.6% of the vote while Porush earns 28.8%. The other candidates are not in the running as Reuven Yitzchak received 3.7% and Yitzchak Edan 2%.
The telephone poll was taken on 12 Elul 5773, involving 300 eligible voters in Elad, half men and half women.

70.4% of the respondents are likely to vote, which includes 74.8% of the men and 66% of the women. This includes 74.3% of Ashkenazi chareidim, 69.4% of the Sephardi chareidim and only 64.8% of the dati leumi voters.
