10:40AM EST: Highly credible sources tell YWN that Rubin Ublies, the man suspected in torching more than 12 Mezuzos in Williamsburg, has just been taken into custody.

Authorities say they used facial recognition to identify the suspect as Rubin Ublies. Police say he was spotted by surveillance cameras lighting a match in the Clymer Street building where the most recent mezuzah was vandalized Tuesday.

Police say Ublies has an extensive criminal history that includes dozens of arrests on robbery, drug, assault, weapons and other charges.
