Settlement Council leader Danny Dayan announced he is stepping down. Dayan announced his endorsement for Likud/Beitenu list and Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu. Dayan explained that as executive director of the council he could not make a public statement, compelling his decision to step down to call on voters to vote for the joint Likud list.

Dayan stated he will remain in office until a replacement is selected.
