With the general elections drawing near, Yahadut Hatorah will be hosting a major Asifa to be held in the Jerusalem Convention Center (Binyanei Ha’uma). Gedolei Yisrael Shlita will be in attendance. To date, HaGaon HaRav Aaron Leib Shteinman Shlita and the Gerre Rebbe Shlita have confirmed they plan to attend. The event is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, 27 Teves 5773.

As the election efforts picks up momentum, Rabbi Mordechai Stern of Agudas Yisrael and Rabbi Avraham Rubinstein of Degel Hatorah are going to begin visiting Gedolei Yisrael to ask them to sign them to a kol korei for the tzibur, instructing people to vote Gimmel, Yahadut Hatorah.
