Professor Leon Friefeld HY”D was murdered during the early morning hours (Sunday) near his home in Lviv, Ukraine. The murderers appear to be three Islamic students who were ousted from the university following their inability to maintain a minimum academic standard. It is being theorized the murder was an act of revenge for their dismissal. The victim was the area’s main orthopedic surgeon and a well-known bal chessed.
The victim’s brother, Dr. Vadim Friefeld, a lecturer at Ben-Gurion University in the Negev received the bitter news on erev shabbos. He immediately took a flight to the Ukraine.

Its time for yidden to get the hint and to leave that cesspool of anti-semitism otherwise known as the Ukraine. The fact that we contribute to their economy each year is a unmitigated discrace.
