Morsi Seeks to Calm Israel Regarding Sinai

Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi is now sending a message to Israel, a message of calm after he unilaterally violated the 32-year-old treaty with Israel prohibiting the deployment of military personnel and/or hardware in Sinai.

Morsi announced that the treaty between his country and Israel is safe as he made vague reference to his deployment of 20 tanks in Sinai, assuring Israel regarding the long-standing peace agreement and the future.
