  1. Oy-Vey! Thats my favorite bank. I hope they put out a sketch of the suspect and offer a 25,000 reward. Maybe they can throw in a free toaster as well.

  2. i saw steve wexler and another few detectives hard at work the ocean county sheriffs dog was following the sents from the bank it took them behind shlomies kosher world thru the gas station hope they catch him

  3. The oilam shouldn’t make fun. They gave money to yeshivos and shuls for opening accounts. Also, the shabbos lamps were a nice thing to give out. Why is everyone so cynical?

  4. yes #11: the same guy robbed a bank in b.p. then quickly skipped over to lkwd and robbed another.the reason they didnt find him yet is because hes robbing his next one in kentucky.

  5. #11: Do you mean to ask if there is a connection between a Boro Park robbery and a Lakewood robbery? Do you think he took a F-15 from the first robbery straight to the Commerce flight deck on the roof, and had the crew keep the engines warm while he pilfered the monies stored below?

  6. #1 Gishmak in Lakewood,
Isnt a bank that serves the great Torah community of Lakewood enough of a reason to help find this guy! why do you need an incentive to do a Mitzvah!

  7. The cops caught the perps speeding and gave them a ticket and let them go. (Come on Chief Lawson, you can take a joke).

  8. There was once a famous bank robber named Willie Sutton, who after much success was caught….. when he was asked why he robbed banks, he answered ‘because that is where the money is’! I wonder what he would answer to ‘why rob banks in Lakewood’?

  9. Robber took “America’s most convenient bank” to another level…
Hey, I made a cash deposit the other day – Hope they didnt take my money…

  10. To #17 Yeshivish Hocker
I wasn’t saying that I would for sure not do a mitzvah without a reward. Don’t you know the famous mishna in Avot that one should not do mitzvos to receive a reward.
But hey brother – It sure helps!
I don’t mind driving up and down the roads searching, but I want to cash in a little bit.
And also, is it really called a ‘mitzvah’ if the bank is owned by goyim?

  11. #12, He is not nuts at all, he knows what he’s doing. Picking a busy intersection like that gives him a better chance of escape and getaway.
