A court has ruled that parents can’t have their sons circumcised on religious grounds in a move which has angered Muslim and Jewish groups in the country.
The court in Cologne decided that a legal guardian’s authority over a child does not allow them to subject them to the procedure, which the court called minor bodily harm, reports The Financial Times Deutschland.
Neither does religious freedom, which is protected by law in Germany, give grounds for such decisions to be taken for the children, the ruling says.
The court was considering a case against a Muslim doctor, who performed circumcision on a four-year-old boy at his parents’ request. Two days after the procedure bleeding started, after which the boy had to be taken to hospital.
German authorities learned about the incident and launched a criminal investigation against the doctor.
The decision sets a precedent, which may affect medical practice across the country.

“German Court: Religious Circumcision Of Kids Is A Crime”
Of course it is… But rounding up 6 million human beings and torturing, starving, shooting, gassing & burning their bodies….now that’s not so bad!!!
I find it very hard to believe that the people who slaughtered 6 million Jews men women and child just a few years ago, all of a sudden they care so much about the welfare of Jewish children more than the parents themselves. Ni ni ni no, nothing has changed they dont give a hoot about a Jewish life much like 60 years ago this is the Germans showing that they want to start with the Jews again, its their assault on Judaism not their concern for Jewish baby’s
First we allied with the Moslems in the Netherlands to defeat the attach on Shechita, and now Millah in Germany. Talk about strange bedfellows…. But l’maaseh, theirs is the religion closest in hashkafa to Yiddishkeit. Too bad its middle eastern adherents have those pereh-adam tendencies.
Now, I understand why the Germans killed 6 MILLION JEWS! It was because they circumsise their children! But then, why kill the babies?! Simple! They would grow up to circumsise THEIR own children AND THAT’S A DANGER…
WHAT IS THIS WORLD COMING TO????!!!!
On the positive side, odds are that this judge has some Nazi y”s ties and this ruling will be overturned by a higher court IY”h. This is similar to what happened in San Francisco; so idiot decided he didnt want ppl to do bris milah, and he found 50,000 or so other idiots who agreed with him, and got a petition to put it up for referendum. It didnt even make it that far, b/c a judge with a common sense of democracy struck it down and that was it. (It most likely wasnt b/c he liked the Jews or Muslims, which be a similar reason if IY”h it gets overturned in Germany)
Oy lanu, nachp’sah dracheinu vnachkorah vnoshuvah ad Hashem!
This is immediately reminiscent of the most recent Anti-Semitic, WWII era, but we must recognize it as going much further back than that – as in the times of The Inquisition, and farther back to Antiochus, and time of Churban Bais Hamikdash.
It has taken place numerous times when we strayed, and unfortunately chas v’Sholom, will continue til Bias Hamashiach.
Members of our generation (baby boomers), certainly in the USA, have not B”H seen and felt real Anti-Semitism of past generations. However, unfortunately it seems on the horizon and closer. Our only recourse is Teshuvah!!!
Unfortunately, it’s really not funny.
No Jew has to live in Germany. This and so many other similar events are a wakeup call to the Jews to leave the countries of the Goyim and come home, before it is too late.
So, bris milah is a “procedure” that causes “minor bodily harm?” And I suppose Dr Mengele Y”S was just performing harmless routine medical check ups?
These Germans really are sick jerks. I don’t know how any Yid can set foot on their blood soaked soil let alone live there.
I now have 6 million and ONE reasons not to like them or buy their products.
#7, “Home” is no safer than anywhere else.
