More than $1 million in cargo was stolen this morning in Manhattan – when a FedEx truck was held up at gunpoint.
Police tell WCBSTV, that the incident began as the driver was on his way to a company facility in Newark. While he was stopped at a traffic light at 47th St. and 11th Ave., two men approached the truck, pulled guns on the driver and forced him out of the truck. The driver was put in another car and driven around for awhile.
He was found around 1:30 this morning in Brooklyn.
The driver, who has worked with the company for 25 years, wasn’t hurt, and police do not consider him to be a suspect.
The truck was found a while ago by the NYPD in the Greenpoint section of Brooklyn, at West Street at India Street.
It is unknown if anything is missing from the truck at this point. But if you are worried about your packages being lost in the heist, track your shipments by clicking HERE.

Names? With the heist pulled on American citizens via Wall Street, it’s only a matter of time before organized crime tries for a new era.
