A woman had her purse snatched, and was assaulted on a Crown Heights street at approximately 3:00PM this afternoon. Crown Heights Shomrim have confirmed to Yeshivaworld that a woman walking on Albany Avenue near President Street when she was suddenly assaulted, and her purse snatched. Two Yeshiva Bochrim who witnessed the assault quickly apprehended the suspect – and called for Shomrim, Hatzolah and the NYPD to respond.
Shomrim arrived and held the suspect until the NYPD arrived and arrested him.
The woman was transported to Kings County Hospital by Crown Heights Hatzolah with minor injuries.

it seems like no day can go by in klal yisroel without some assault or other. i think its time to reexamine the way we act and talk in the streets.
