Starting today, the new Israeli law goes into effect, requiring all those riding bicycles, roller-blades or skateboards are required to wear helmets. The Knesset passed the law requiring the helmets two months ago – and was reported HERE on YW. Police will now start issuing fines to those caught riding without a helmet.
