New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg is scheduled to be in Jerusalem on October 23rd to dedicate the new Jerusalem Headquarters of Magen David Adom. The previous building was totally rebuilt to comply with the demands of a modern-day emergency medical service. It will be named the William H. Bloomberg Jerusalem MDA Station in memory of his father.

Dignitaries expected to be on hand include President Shimon Peres, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, and Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat.

American Friends of Magen David Adom is making this a major gala event, and it will also mark the end of the International MDA Conference, which will include professionals from around the globe.
