Over 3,000 members of the Gur Hassidic sect gathered on Saturday night in Bnei Brak to hear from the Rebbe and other prominent members of the Gur community. The Rebbe instructed his followers to come out and vote on 28 March, to cast their ballots for the United Torah Judaism list. Some of the rabbis who addressed the large gathering stated there is no room for complacency, that each vote could make the difference of another Knesset seat. UTJ is composed of the hassidic Agudat Yisrael Party and the Degel HaTorah Party which represents the ultra-Orthodox Lithuanian stream.
