RYochananWannabe should keep in mind that if you switch to an opposite extreme (let’s say a high school with very little attention to secular studies) you might find problems with that too (no group within Orthodoxy is perfect). Sometimes the mean between the extremes is best. Sometimes it’s good to be around people to your right and people to your left, rather than just being around a bunch of people who are just like you.
