Missing Autistic Child Found By Williamsburg Shomrim

During Davening on Friday night, a man was informed that his autistic child had suddenly disappeared from his home – and was nowhere to be found. Family and friends searched for close to two hours, but to no avail. He was nowhere to be found. The father then contacted Williamsburg Shomrim, who started a large search, combing through the streets and yards of Williamsburg. After approximately 30 minutes, a Shomrim member located the child in a dark yard – behind Nadvorna Shul – on Bedford Avenue and Morton. Hatzolah was called to check out the child – who handed him over to the parents in perfect condition, Boruch Hashem.

The NYPD (90th PCT) was amazed at the devotion of the Shomrim members – how they mobilized dozens of members to walk the streets on foot for the search.
