They make these boxes- more pricey than the slapstick cheese traps (by the way try peanut butter as well) that the mice walk into and die. I think it is a glue trap (no way did I set them out or deal with them) but you threw away the whole box so it was a neater clean up job…
Check out major appliances like ovens, dishwashers ect. Look inside and behind them because they might be hiding there. Unfortunately we found out the hard way… cooked mouse. Check for their presence in these appliances and behind them ect. If they are in your kitchen and something major like a dishwasher stops working- they might have eaten the cords.
