Congressman Jerry Nadler met with Borough Park Shomrim members, Thursday morning. He presented them with a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition for their tireless efforts in searching for Leiby Kletzky in July, and for the remarkable work they did to organize hundreds of volunteers to assist in the search.
”While this search ended in terrible tragedy, it is important to recognize the efforts of these volunteers, along with the NYPD, the FBI, Hatzolah, Chaverim, Misaskim, and the many people from Borough Park and beyond who aided in the search”, Nadler said.

The Shomrim do try to help as much as they can.
Last week they carried a family member of mine who is wheelchair bound up three flight of stairs because the elevator in the building broke down again between taking her out and coming back. The management said what could they do but Shomrim came and did us a big chesed.
Shomrim should not be selling themselves to people such Congressman Jerry Nadler . he does not help us at all.
