Security guards have been ordered to boost their presence outside the home of Chacham Ovadia Yosef Shlita, following the brutal murder of Rabbi Elazar Abuhatzeira in Beersheba on Thursday night.
People arriving to Daven in the home of Chacham Ovadia on Sunday morning were forced to undergo stricter security checks.
A source in the home, who confirmed the report to Ynet, said that almost every worshipper arriving at the house was checked, even those with a “regular” Charedi appearance.
According to the source, the shocking murder in Beersheba clarified that “everyone has become a suspect – even Charedim, unfortunately”.
