JFem, FNY, you are both missing a critical point. Halacha doesn’t really care at all if women are attracted to men, if they have “inappropriate” thoughts, or even if they act on those thoughts alone within the privacy of their home (as long as they don’t act on them with the man himself). For a man Halacha does care.
