hi! we chose to have the male because there was a mouse in our house; we got him as a kitten.
as he got older, he went outside & he brought the female home w/ him; they would hang out on our porch together.
we thought she was pregnant & kept her. she didn’t give birth until maybe a year later (?)= we were wrong, she wasn’t pregnant *then*, but we kept her.
we haven’t had cats in years now because the kittens were climbing on the dining room table & onto my husband’s seforim.
