That is not true!
the patient can be sent out to the waiting room and wait in line to get triaged.
Regarding your comment of a rookie EMT telling a nurse how to do her job.
A) if she is a triage nurse, she really has no job other than listening to the EMT and taking vitals..
B) People involved in the healthcare industry should have better attitude, everyone was at one point a rookie, she should have kindly pointed out to the rookie his/her mistake.
