The Tri-State may be in for one of the hottest weeks of the summer.
Since the mercury has topped 90 degrees for three straight days, the area is officially in its first heat wave of the season — and it won’t be cooling off any time soon.
The punishing humidity is expected to smother the city for the next seven days.
WCBSTV meteorologist said temperatures later in the week will feel like the triple digits, due to the humidity returning.
“It’s very possible Thursday’s feels-like temperature will be 105 degrees, while it will feel closer to 110 on Friday.”

Hot weather in New York in July? oh come now your joshing with me, next thing you will tell me is that we will get snow in January preposterous!
that sentence makes no sense watermelon!
Oh dear. It must be global warming. Do you realize that six months ago it was 60 degrees cooler. THe temperature has rise 60 degress in six months. At this rate, in another year it will reach boiling and we’ll all die…
P.s. For the dumb among the readers, this is an example of sarcasm. DO not be confused since I use the same methodology as the “green” movement. I realize that it is supposed to be cold in January and warm in July.
#3 wow the first liberal that doesn’t take global warming serious.
Actually I’m considered a right-wing nut by most people who know me.
